Building a home is perhaps the most significant emotional and financial investment a person makes. At Civitech Developers, we believe that the “Spaces for Happiness” we deliver are only as strong as the materials used to build them.

In our latest leadership series video, our CEO, Mr. Sarthi Goel, takes us behind the scenes to explain why procurement isn’t just a department—it’s the backbone of our 30-year legacy.

Here is an inside look at how we ensure your home is built to last for generations.

Quality is Personal

For Mr. Sarthi Goel, construction quality isn’t a box to be checked; it’s a personal commitment. “Quality is something very close to my heart,” he shares. This is why he has personally established the guidelines for our procurement process, ensuring that every piece of raw material meets a standard that exceeds industry norms.

We Source the Best, Then Test the Rest

At Civitech, we don’t just rely on the prestige of big brands. While we partner with top-tier cement and steel manufacturers who provide Material Test Certificates (MTC), we take it a step further.

We conduct randomized, independent lab testing on every batch that enters our sites. Whether it’s steel, cement, or even the oil used for shuttering, we don’t move forward until our on-site labs give the green light.

The “Unseen” Factor of Safety

Did you know that the industry standard for “Class 1” bricks is a compressive strength of 10 N/mm²? At Civitech, we set our minimum at 11 to 12 N/mm².

Why? Because even though bricks are often used as filler material, we believe in a “Factor of Safety.” Higher-strength bricks mean lower water absorption, which directly reduces the chances of seepage and dampness in your home years down the line.

A Zero-Compromise Policy

Our procurement process follows a strict two-step verification:

  • The Documentation Check: Our store team verifies the material against the specific requirements of the Purchase Order.
  • The Lab Check: Our quality team performs technical tests before a single truck is even allowed to unload.

As Mr. Goel emphasizes in the video, “Our quality parameters are intact. We do not deviate, regardless of the vendor or the situation.” If a material—be it a tile with a slight color variation or sand that doesn’t meet the correct grading—fails our test, it is immediately rejected and sent back.

Investing in Your Future

Sourcing premium materials often comes at a higher cost for the developer, but at Civitech, we view this as a necessary investment. When you start a new chapter of your life in a Civitech home, you deserve to know that the foundation beneath your feet is as solid as our promise.
